Auckland Hockey Welcomes Appointed Board Member Carron Jerram
Auckland Hockey are delighted to announce the Board’s newest appointed member, Carron Jerram.
Carron was a Silver Fern Netballer for six years, and Vice Captain of the team in 1993.
A member of the High Performance Committee of Netball NZ in the early 2000’s, Carron also has Board experience having served on the Diamonds Netball Board in 2006-7.
In addition to having a stellar sporting CV Carron has been a Chartered Accountant for 25 years and General Manager at Veterinary Specialists in Auckland.
Carron is the mother of four active young adults and has coached or managed various Netball, Cricket and Hockey teams for the last 20 years including managing our AKH Under 18 Boys in 2018-2019.
Carron keeps active running, cycling and hiking and is currently training to run the upcoming Hawkes Bay Marathon.
In making the announcement on behalf of the Board, Chair Dave Wigmore said “We are absolutely delighted to have Carron join the Auckland Hockey Board. We are very proud of our recent success in maintaining a diverse group of quality hockey people on our Board, and having a non-hockey person with such amazing sporting knowledge and business acumen join us is an incredible opportunity for our stakeholders”.
