Youth Winter Competition 2024

Auckland Hockey offers a Youth Competition for Year 9-13 students. The competition starts in Term 2. Entry to this competition is via our Auckland Hockey Clubs. To find the contact details for our Auckland Hockey Clubs please Click here.

We offer two grades in Youth Hockey.

Premier Grade

Our Premier Grade is played on a Friday night at various turfs across Auckland. We offer a boys and girls grade within this competition. They play 1 x match broken into 2 x 30 minute halves and a 5 minute half time. Game times are typically 7pm and 8.15pm. This grade is for experienced hockey players.

Championship Grade

Our Championship Grades are played on a Sunday morning at various turfs across Auckland. We offer a boys and girls grade within this competition. They play 1 x match broken into 2 x 30 minute halves and a 5 minute half time. Game times are typically 10am and 11.30am. This grade is for development hockey players.
