WANTED: 1st XI Boys Hockey Coach – Glendowie College

Glendowie College are looking for a keen individual to coach their 1st XI Boys team, which includes at least one training each week, and one college game per week (Wednesdays from 4pm). This is a paid position.

Head of Hockey – King’s College

 

King’s College is seeking applications for the Head of Hockey role on a fixed term basis for the 2022 season

King’s College is seeking applications for the Head of Hockey role starting in Term 1, of 2022 and going through to end of Term 3, September 2022. This is 40 hours a week fixed term role with working hours being between 11.00am to 5.30pm, four days a week with supporting the 1st XI boys’ and girls’ teams on game nights being Wednesday / Thursday evening through to 7.30pm. 

The position is primarily responsible for all aspects of the Hockey programme at the College and is expected to ensure that all operate efficiently and smoothly, to provide the best possible Hockey programmes for all students who wish to play Hockey.

Seeking applications with:

  • In depth knowledge of the game of Hockey
  • High level coaching qualifications including experience with Hudl/Gamebreaker Software
  • Excellent Administration skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Explementary good sportsmanship and behaviour which conforms to the Fair Play code.

Premier Women’s Coach – Somerville Hockey Club

Somerville H.C. is seeking to fill the position of Head Coach within its Premier Women’s programme.

The Premier Women’s team has contested finals for the past six seasons and boasts a number of current and former Black Sticks, a number of regional players along with some rising stars from one of the country’s largest junior programmes.

The Premier Women’s Head Coach position is supported by an Assistant Coach and Manager. The position reports to the clubs Coaching Director.

 

Premier Men’s Coach – Somerville Hockey Club

Somerville H.C. is also seeking to fill the position of Head Coach within its Premier Men’s programme.

The Somerville Premier Men’s team has contested quarter finals for the past 3 seasons and boasts a number of current and former Black Sticks, a number of regional players along with some rising stars from one of the country’s largest junior programmes

The premier Men’s Head Coach position is supported by an assistant coach and manager. The position reports to the clubs Coaching Director.

 

The club, based in the central suburbs of Auckland has a membership of approximately 600 (50 teams) with a history dating back to 1915.

Contract: 2022 – renewable

Salary: On application.
