U16 Representative Programme — 2026

Auckland Hockey’s U16 Representative Programme is one of the most exciting pathways for our developing players. This is your chance to push your game to the next level, compete for a place in our representative teams, and experience high-performance hockey in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Our programme is built around player development — giving athletes the opportunity to grow their skills, build confidence, and perform under pressure alongside the best players in the region.

The campaign includes open and invite trials, a structured team training programme, and culminates in both the Northern Region Tournament and the National U16 Championships.

Age Eligibility: TBC Players selected for the U18 programme in the same year are ineligible to participate in the U16 programme.

Open Trials

• Trial 1 — Friday 24th July
• Trial 2 — Friday 31st July

Invite Trials

• Trial 3 — Friday 7th August
• Trial 4 — Friday 14th August

National U16 Tournament Dates: 3rd – 7th October 2026

• Boys — Auckland
• Girls — Christchurch

Northern Region Tournament Dates: 26th – 28th September 2026 Location: TBC
