MEMO – COVID-19 (novel coronavirus)

This memo follows the one sent on Monday this week and the announcement by HNZ this afternoon. We are fully supportive of the announcement suspending all Hockey until May 2nd. The announcement will be on our Facebook and website pages this afternoon.

For the latest advice from the Ministry of Health please refer to  their website -moh.govt.nz

With respect to the LEP facility for the period to May 2nd

• The LEP turfs and Bar and café and offices will be closed to all stakeholders.
• While the HNZ announcement says from 19^th March onward, the LEP facility will be closed with immediate effect.

Advice to Auckland Hockey Schools and Clubs

• Auckland Hockey advise all Auckland Hockey Schools and Auckland Hockey Clubs who are currently trialling or practising for the upcoming season, please refer to the Hockey NZ notice, and immediately postpone all hockey activities.

As noted in Monday’s Memo we will communicate again with you through further updates to take account of any further developments.
