We are pleased to report our turf partners Polytan are making good progress with the Lloyd Elsmore Park Turf 2 renewal and floodlight upgrade.
The floodlights and turf underlay have been completed, but after some challenging weather last week we have been delayed a few days with the turf installation. The majority of the turf is now cut and in place too, with seams, gluing and field lines still to be completed.
With a promising forecast over the coming week we are anticipating the turf to be completed by the end of next week, ready for use on the weekend of 24th/25th of May. Should there be any delays, games for that weekend will be moved to other turfs and final installation completed before Kings Birthday weekend. Thank you to clubs and teams who are working with the reduced capacity at LEP stadium whilst we complete this essential upgrade.
