EOI Fiji Yr 7 and 8 Representative Teams 2023

Auckland Hockey has accepted an invitation from Fiji Hockey to participate in a Hockey and cultural exchange in October this year. A trial will be held at LEP on the morning of Sunday 28 May at 8am-10am to select one boys and one girls Yr 7-8 team of 14 players. To be eligible for selection you should be playing in the Auckland Hockey Saturday morning Winter Junior Competition and be in either yr 7 or 8 in 2023.

As well as playing in a 4 match series  players will experience Fijian hospitality and visit and engage with a local village and primary school children. Our expectation is that each player selected travels with a parent(s) and/or guardian(s) similar to the Melbourne U15 trip earlier this year.

The teams will be coached by AK Hockey staff Rochi Gonzalez Canda and Manoj Daji.

Further information about the exchange and tentative costs will be provided to players and parents by Manoj and Rochi at the trial at lep on May 28.
