Royals Academy 2024

Our Royals Academy has been designed by Auckland Coaches to provide an opportunity for athletes to develop to their full potential. It is designed for players in school that are from Year 5 to Year 12.

The trainings provide a steppingstone for players wanting to earn selection in the season ahead for the U16 and U18 Representative teams.

Auckland Hockey wants to deliver a quality opportunity for as many players as possible so the number of players that can be taken in each program is limited to allow. Registrations will be confirmed on a first in first served basis and you may be allocated to the next block of camps in Term 1 2025.

Registrations closes on Tuesday 22nd October. The academy will run for 5 weeks.

Start: Monday 5th November 2024 (the weekend after labour weekend)
Finish: Thursday 5th December 2024

Wednesday Sessions
Venue: Home of Auckland Hockey, Llyod Elsmore Park (location link here)

The Academy for each session runs for 5 weeks. Costs are as follows:

• $100 one session a week
• $200 two sessions a week.
• $50 Goal Keepers

Players in Y5 & Y6 will participated in a festival at North Harbour Hockey on Sunday 1st December 2024.
Teams will be named a week before the event. The Cost of participating in the festival is TBC.

Important Information

Spaces are limited and we will confirm times and groups upon finalising applications.

Auckland Hockey will allocate players in a case by case basis at our discretion.
