Colin Maiden Park Project Update

We’re pleased to share our latest progress video and update on the Colin Maiden Park hockey turf construction.

Over the past few months, the construction team has been working hard to keep things moving, despite being challenged with the wet winter weather and resource consent limits which paused earthworks from May – October.

Great progress has been made on other key areas including stormwater, concrete paths, fences and footings for light towers — the facility is really starting to take shape. The project remains relatively on track thanks to the continued commitment and careful planning of the construction team, Project Manager and Engineer.

The completion of the turfs is now expected to be late February 2026 just a month out from the original completion date.
