At the Auckland Hockey Association Annual General Meeting on Saturday 20th of June, Chris Kinley was elected to the Auckland Hockey Board.
Chris has been involved in hockey for more than 40 years, first playing in the United Kingdom before moving to New Zealand in 2002. Since then, he has represented Auckland University, Howick Pakuranga and Grammar Windsor Hockey Club in Auckland club competitions, and is also involved as an umpire and member of the Auckland Hockey Umpires Association.
Chris brings extensive experience in governance, finance and leadership, having held senior roles primarily across the technology and utility sectors. He is a Chartered Management Accountant and a member of the Institute of Directors.
Chris values team sport and fair play, and is passionate about creating a positive environment where people can enjoy hockey and stay involved for life.
