A huge congratulations to our seven Auckland Women who have been named in the Vantage Black Sticks Women’s side to take on Japan next month.

A very special congratulations to debutants Rebecca Baker, Breana Catley, Izzy Gill and Emma Rainey who are all selected alongside Sam Child, Katie Doar and Rose Tynan in the squad.

Head Coach Phil Burrows says that this series will be a great opportunity to witness new and exciting talent.

“The squad mixes new faces with experienced campaigners and I’m excited to give players who have come through our pathway the opportunity to test themselves at international level.

“I know that the senior figures in the side will provide them with great support to ensure that they are in the best position to succeed when they take the turf against Japan.”
