Auckland Hockey thanks Warren ‘Busta’ Birmingham
On Friday 3 April Auckland Hockey released Warren ‘Busta’ Birmingham from his agreement due to the implications of the COVID 19 crisis on 2020 Rep Hockey, International travel restrictions and finances of the organisation.
We sincerely thank Busta for his contribution to Auckland Hockey since June 2018. CEO Manoj Daji said “we have been very fortunate to have had the services of Busta in this period to help our organisation achieve some of our strategic goals. It is not every day organisations have the benefit of being able to lean on a world class person as a resource, and so I speak personally and on behalf of rep players, rep coaches, club coaches, the Board and other leaders in our hockey community in thanking Busta for his contribution. The COVID 19 crisis is a testing time for society, including sporting organisations like ours.”
We wish Busta well with his future endeavours and trust him and his family stay safe and well in Australia at this time.
