Auckland Hockey are inviting Expressions of Interest from players to represent Auckland at the National Masters Hockey Tournament in Tauranga 2022.Please complete the forms below with your details if you are interested in participating.

Independent selectors from Auckland Hockey will help Coaches with selection duties.

This year the new AMAG (Masters Advisory Group) are looking to name Coaches before the Muster/Trial event and have the teams named by Mid-November (dependent on COVID Alert levels).

Selected players will need to pay a non-refundable deposit that covers your Auckland Hockey Admin fee (covering HNZ tournament entry, Umpires, First Aid, Turf fees, Admin fees and any Uniform charges) in the week after naming to confirm their selection. Tentative accommodation bookings have been made for both Men’s and Women’s teams and will need confirmation by Managers in late November, early December. A part-time Masters Administrator will be named shortly to liaise with Coaches and Managers in the period October to March.

In addition, all players will be required to pay for their accomodation and travel independently. Auckland Hockey is not in a position in the current fluctuating environment to carry the financial risk and responsibility associated with large team bookings for Vans and Accommodation etc.

Depending on the build-up required by your Coach and agreed with your team you may have a combination of practices and practice games or practices only in the period between team naming and the National Tournament.
