AKH U23 Forgesson – Archibald Shield 9s 2022 Edition announced

AKH is thrilled to announce the U23 Forgesson – Archibald Shield 9s 2022 Edition today.

With wonderful support for the event from Chesters Plumbing and following our successful 2021 event our players will play in an exciting one day 9’s festival on Saturday 5th February at Auckland Hockey Stadium, Lloyd Elsmore Park.

The event will be televised on the SKY NEXT platform and we are lucky to have Shane McLeod as one of our Guest commentators along with Ryan Archibald and Michelle Prendiville from TVNZ.

A tournament team will be selected from the event with players forming the basis of the new Auckland A Teams to play in an exchange with NSW Hockey in Sydney in the first week of December 2022.
