$500 New Umpire Tertiary Scholarships

Auckland Hockey and the Auckland Hockey Umpires Association are in need of 30 Club Player Umpires to address an immediate shortage of Umpires for the 2022 season.

 

If you are a Tertiary or Vocational student, male or female, aged 18-23 years old, and playing in the Auckland Senior Club Competition you should apply today.

 

Successful applicants will receive $500 towards their tertiary or vocational studies PLUS receive the weekly umpires travel allowance for games umpired. As a minimum you are committing to umpiring one game per weekend either before or after your scheduled club game.

 

The AHUA will put you through some Umpiring courses to get you started in this Pilot Programme.

 

Applications close on April 10th at 5pm.
