Board Member Nominations
Auckland Hockey has two board vacancies to fill at the 2026 AGM with two long serving members recently stepping down. Mark Robinson, originally appointed in 2022 and re-elected in 2024, has been replaced by an appointed member, Rob Thomas who will also Chair our Finance and Risk Committee. Abbie Gunning, who was also appointed in 2022, has decided to stand down creating a vacancy that gives the opportunity for the clubs to elect another member.
As such, we are currently seeking two candidates for election or appointment the AGM on 6 June 2026.
Board Member Portfolios we seek to fill are:
• Human Resource management experience
• Includes appointment to the HR Sub-committee
• Strategic thinking abilities
• Exposure to, or experience in a not-for-profit environment
• Experience in leading boards and/or subcommittees would be beneficial
